Guest Ratings & Reviews
I felt like I was entering a jungle paradise with the lush plants and trees surrounding the rooms, giving a unique vibe. The rooms, although showing signs of age, were cozy despite a slight initial damp smell that quickly disappeared once the air con kicked in. The staff was always attentive and helpful, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location, while a bit distant from town, was serene and beautiful, with Balinese statues adding to the charm. However, the dining options were limited, offering only light food that didn't meet the expected standards for the price. Despite that, the overall experience was pleasant.
The presidential suite had a bit of an unpleasant smell and a slight musty odor, which was not suitable for my young family due to safety concerns with steep tiled stairs and children's proximity to the outdoor bathroom. However, the service was really nice and helpful with any requests, providing tips on good places to visit. The location felt like being in a jungle wonderland, close to both the monkey sanctuary and the center of Ubud. The dining experience was below expectations for a hotel charging premium rates, although the omelette was cooked to perfection. Overall, the hotel offers a unique experience but has some room for improvement in certain areas.
I was thrilled with the hotel's location surrounded by beautiful lush forest and just by the river outside the bustling Ubud town center. The rooms were spacious, clean, and came with a fabulous view, making the stay comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. However, the dining options were lacking, but the stunning location made up for it.
The hotel had a few issues with the rooms like holes where flies and geckos could get in and a musty smell probably from a moldy cane rubbish basket. Despite this, we were moved to a much cheaper basic room without adjusting the price. The place needs some revamping and updating.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with private balconies, convenient beds, but they could improve cleanliness. The service was friendly and helpful, although slightly uptight. The location is a nature lover's paradise with beautiful views. The dining experience had limited variety. Overall, a magical location with some room for improvement in cleanliness and dining options.
The hotel is nestled within the jungle, offering a unique experience surrounded by lush green trees. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a lovely nightly turn-down service. However, some rooms may not be suitable for families with young children due to safety concerns. The dining options are limited, but the homemade bread is a delightful touch.
